On September 1st, Nvidia released information about their new generation of graphics cards, labeled as their RTX 30 Series. The RTX 30 series cards are powered by their Ampere architecture and will be their 2nd generation of RTX based cards.
According to the post on Nvidia's website, the cards feature '2nd gen Ray Tracing Cores, faster 3rd gen Tensor Cores and new streaming multiprocessors' that will help enhance and bring more stunning visuals, better frame rates and what they are calling AI acceleration for both creators and gamers.

From the lineup, we are expecting 3 new cards to be released: the RTX 3080 September 17, the RTX 3090September 24th and the RTX 3070 on an undisclosed date in October. Pre-orders for the founders edition cards are currently available via Nvidia's website.
The RTX 3070, which retails for about $499.00 USD, will provide 5888 Cuda Cores, a boost clock of 1.73GHz and 8 GB's of GDDR6 Memory. Seems to be a steal at that price!

The RTX 3080 founders edition will retail at around $699.00 USD and will boast a whopping 8704 Cuda Cores, a 1.71GHz Boost clock and a generous 10 GB's of GDDR6X Memory.

And last but not least, the titan of the series so far, the RTX 3090, which retails for $1,499.00 USD for the founders edition, will be the second version, right after the RTX 3080. This cards has a staggering 10,496 Cuda Cores, a boost clock of 1.70GHz and a crazy 24 GB's of GDDR6X Memory. You won't be needing much more for a long time!

This lineup is crazy and the performance details are insane, and for that price? I might be picking one up on launch.
